Parenting a Child with Autism

Over eleven years ago, my son was diagnosed with autism and my life was dramatically changed. The diagnosis can be intimidating and parents are sometimes unsure of what to do. I don’t have all the answers but I do remember the panic, denial, and the fear I felt when my own son was diagnosed. I know now so many things I did not know then. My son is making progress and he is happy. I love watching him grow in his unique and amazing way. In this video if tried to put into words some of the things that I thought might help a parent of a child newly diagnosed with autism. Best of luck to you all!
